Title: The Bone Sparrow

What: This term we have introduced a new reading task that we call Novel Study.
How To Work: We got to choose out of a number of books that you read for your Novel Study. I chose a book called THE BONE SPARROW.
About Book: The book is about when there is this kid called Subhi and he lives in a tent with his sister Queeny and his Maā. They have to do work at the camp to earn things like more food and water. In some parts of the book Subhi describes that sometimes the camp feels like a desert. Subhi has to make sure that he works because if he slacks 0ff to much his shoes that he got for working so hard could be taken away. There is another person called Harvey that still goes to the camp but delivers mail. Harvey only comes sometimes and he always brings a little plastic pool that you can swim in but can only fit 4 people in it. But after all of the people are all finished swimming in the pool it looks like a mud pool. Later on in the story Subhi has to say goodbye to a friend named Eli because hes going to do some more work in another country called Alpha. Subhi feels like Eli is like his brother and he doesent want Eli to leave.
How Do You Feel: Some parts of the story can be sad and weird and sometimes I dont get what they get.
Rating: I would rate this 8 out of 10 because sometimes I dont know what there talking about and dont know some of the characters that they introduce.
