LI:To use paragraphs in my writing.

Last Tuesday I had swimming lessons at Dean Greenwood. My instructor is Oscar. So far in my swimming lessons I am in Advanced Lesson and i have got 3 more things to complete to get into squad level. At my swimming I do it for half an hour. Oscar(my instructor) told me that we would be doing dives. And I don't really like dives because the week before I did a half belly flop and half glide.Well that's how my instructor explained it.

We started off by doing something called streamline kicking. Streamline kicking is when you have your head in the water and you blowing bubbles and kicking and have your arms on the sides underneath your ears and you have to swim all the way. When you go out for a breath you make sure that you breathe on both sides and put you arm to the side of your tummy and go back into the water. For me i would rate it 10/10 because it is really fun. Then we did streamline kicking again but on our back and did the same thing.

Then we did freestyle. Then after that we had to do backstroke which is very cool and my favorite because you can go very fast. When we do backstroke in my swim class we have to remember called a tutu. But it isn't one you would wear for ballet.Tutu stands for toes up and tummie up.

Then we did diving. We all climbed out of the pool and stranded on the edge of the pool.Oscar told me to bend my knees a little bit,put my toes together and make sure to glide off the wall. Oscar had his hand over us and if we touched his hand we would have to dive again until we didn't touch his hand.

When I was ready Oscar counted 3,2,1 go.Splash went the water.My goggles fell off but I found them again.I came out of the water clueless of either if I had either done a dive or if I had just done a belly flop. Oscar told me that i had done a dive. I felt so happy about that. I didn't really want to dive but i gave it a risk and I was confident enough to jump that i did an actual dive.After that dive I did about 2 more and I loved them. Now I love diving.I can't wait to go diving again.

Choir Rehearsal At Titirangi Primary

On Wednesday 12th of June our school choir went to Titirangi Primary School for our first choir rehearsal.I am part of our school choir and it is really fun.In choir we are always nice to each other even if there voice doesn't sound good we still say it is good.On Tuesday 26th of November we will be going to the APPA(Auckland Primary Princaple's Assoiation) Music Festival.At Titirangi primary there were other schools that came that included our school as well that are in the a side.There are 2 sides for the APPA. The a side and the B side.Our choir is on the a side.For the APPA festival the a side and the b side will be singing different parts of the song but we are mostly all are singing all of the songs.We all sang and rehearsals all of the songs one by one.There are three main teachers and choir trainers.One of them is Mr Lambert which is the leader choir singer for a side.Miss Migrah which is also a choir trainer that is the co leader.And then there is Miss Ward who is our pianist for were some of the songs have piano in it.There was one very big choir that is from Glen Eden Primary School.There looked like there was a lot of people even more than our school choir.There were about another 5 schools including us.I reall like choir becuase i like to sing alot in my own time and it was fun.There are only four boys including me that is Ollie D,Pranav and Luke.We all like choir.I hope that next year that some of the boys join choir because it is very fun.

POSTURE

Miss Mountcastle is very strict on choir posture.We have to have our feet on the flat on the ground,our backs not lying on the back of the chair,hands by our side and you are sitting in the middle of the seat not on the very edge but in the middle.And then you have to sing your heart out.

Blog Post Week 6. A Variaty of Learning

of our platform. Did you know that Instagram was open on October 6th on midnight on 2010?

my Transform follow up task. In the social
media group we have to use a website that is
about the advantages that could happen in
social media and the disadvantages that could
happen in SOCIAL MEDIA.

In this photo I have done some work on
finding the mixed equivelint fraction's. You
have to times the denominator with the nomenator.
I would rate this probaly a 5 out of 10
because it was hard a little bit.
